Silsurf83 was once a girl with big dreams, now I'm a woman moving forward through adversity. Barrel racing was my life, and the world of professional athletics isn’t an easy one. It’s a full-time commitment requiring personal sacrifice and a dedication to preparation. Rodeo is a sport that will keep you humble, even when fit as a fiddle. What happens when Chronic Illness and other struggles invade your life? In my life, transformation happens.
The world isn't built fair, it's built tough and rugged. Instead of sitting on " Why Me?" I saddle up screaming "Try Me." and although my rodeo career may be over, I've introduced a few new talents.
Rodeo Takes A Backseat
I made big dreams in the world of rodeo, and my first step was earning my PRCA Pro Card. It takes a team to make it anywhere in the horse industry, You and Your Horse (and basically a pit crew!). I'm so blessed to have gotten as far as I did in rodeo. Yes, it is heartbreaking to have to walk away due to injuries, however both of my teammates (My two horses) get to live the rest of their days happy and well fed.

I have worked in many different industry's as you will learn about me. My passion always remains the same: Inspire, Grow, and Spread Happiness.

Making at least 1% gains to be better mentally and physically is my mantra "Always Be Up To Something." is my motto.
